Parts are cast in Akrapovič's in-house foundry, and the system has been perfectly tuned to deliver a sporty, deep higher-frequency V8 sound with an unmistakable Akrapovič character — smooth and drone-free for maximum everyday comfort. It delivers an increase in performance and torque through a broad rpm range alongside a significant weight saving of 40%. Because it's ECE type approved with no need to remap the ECU or add any other parts, it's a simple plug-and-play installation — though fitting the optional Sound Kit invalidates ECE type approval.

For vehicles with the base (non-sport) Porsche exhaust system, the Middle Valve Actuator Kit (P-HF1170) is a mandatory upgrade alongside this system. If the Evolution Line replaces a Porsche sports exhaust system, the actuator kit is not required. Contact us before ordering if you're unsure which your car has.
